Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was a famous French painter and one of the leading figures of Impressionism. In his creation, he can combine traditional painting methods with Impressionism methods, expressing the quivering of sunlight and air and the clear atmosphere with bright and transparent colors. He has a unique style and is the most famous for his depiction of the female body. Representative works include "Box", "Lunch on a Cruise", "Portrait of Little Margot", and "Ball at the Pancake Mill".
