Alphonse Maria Mucha (July 24, 1860 July 14, 1939) was a Czech painter and ornamental artist known for the unique and beautiful lines of his posters, and his designs were found in books, clothing, jewelry, furniture, and architecture. Mucha's works include the gorgeous colors and geometric decorative effects of Byzantine art, as well as the detailed and sensual depictions of Baroque and Rococo art, and the style is mostly imitated by staff efficiency.
