Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849 )かつしか ほくさい Katsushika Hokusai, a Japanese ukiyo-e painter in the Edo period, whose representative works include "Thirty-six Scenes of Fuyue", "Kaifeng Kuaiqing", "Kanagawa Surfing", "Junzhou Ejiri", etc. His painting style had a great influence on the later European painting scene. Many Impressionist painting masters such as Degas, Manet, Van Gogh, and Gauguin copied his works. Selected as one of the 100 celebrities who influenced the world in the millennium.
