Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849 )かつしか ほくさい Katsushika Hokusai, a Japanese ukiyo-e painter in the Edo period, whose representative works include "Thirty-six Scenes of Fuyue", "Kaifeng Kuaiqing", "Kanagawa Surfing", "Junzhou Ejiri", etc. His painting style had a great influence on the later European painting scene.
