Oscar-Claude Monet was an Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artist (French: Oscar-Claude Monet, November 14, 1840 - December 5, 1926, 86 years old), a French painter, known as the "leader of Impressionism". He was one of the representative figures and founders of Impressionism, and his representative works include Sunrise Impression, Rouen Cathedral, Water Lilies, Haystacks, etc. The word "impression" is derived from his famous work "Sunrise Impression". Monet was good at the expression technique of light and shadow, changing the painting method of shadows and contours. In his paintings, there are no very clear shadows, nor prominent or flat-painted contours. In addition, his use of color is quite delicate, and he has long explored the perfect expression of experimental color and light.
