Vincent Willem van Gogh (March 30, 1853 - July 29, 1890, age 37) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter. His masterpieces include "Starry Night", a series of self-portraits, and a series of sunflowers. He loved portraits and painted 35 self-portraits and 11 sunflowers during his lifetime. Van Gogh created a total of 864 oil paintings, 1,037 drawings, and 150 watercolors during his lifetime.
